- The Mercedes-AMG G 63 costs AED 1,750 per day and the Lamborghini Urus Performante AED 3,400 per day, both excluding 5% VAT.
- The Urus is the faster car on paper (666 hp, 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 s), while the G 63 offers five seats at roughly half the daily rate.
- The deposit is AED 3,000 for the G 63 and AED 5,000 for the Urus, and both include free delivery in Dubai and 250 km per day.
Is the G-Wagon or the Lamborghini Urus better to rent in Dubai?
Choose the G 63 if you want an upright, iconic SUV with five seats at AED 1,750 per day. Choose the Urus Performante if acceleration and a supercar badge matter more than budget, at AED 3,400 per day (both excluding 5% VAT).
Neither car is better in every respect. The Mercedes-AMG G 63 is about presence: a tall, square body that is recognised everywhere in Dubai. The Lamborghini Urus Performante is a performance SUV with the most power of the two and the quickest published sprint.
The table puts the published figures side by side. Where our listing does not state a value, it says so; seat count on the Urus is confirmed at booking because our listings show different configurations.

How much does it cost to rent a G-Wagon or a Urus per day in Dubai?
The G 63 is AED 1,750 per day and the Urus Performante is AED 3,400 per day, excluding 5% VAT. With VAT, one day comes to AED 1,837.50 for the G 63 and AED 3,570 for the Urus.
The gap is AED 1,650 per day before VAT, so it grows quickly over a longer stay. A weekend of two days costs AED 3,500 for the G 63, or AED 3,675 including VAT. The same two days in the Urus cost AED 6,800, or AED 7,140 including VAT. Over three days the totals including VAT are AED 5,512.50 and AED 10,710.
Both cars include 250 km per day. Beyond that, the G 63 charges AED 15 per extra kilometre and the Urus AED 20. If a two-day rental ends at 600 km instead of the included 500 km, the extra 100 km add AED 1,500 on the G 63 and AED 2,000 on the Urus.
Fuel, Salik tolls, parking and any fines are paid by the renter for both cars. Weekly and monthly prices are not published and are given on request. Our listings show more than one Urus colour; the exact rate for the car you choose is confirmed at booking.
How different is the deposit and what does it mean for your card?
The G 63 needs a security deposit of AED 3,000, the Urus AED 5,000. It is a temporary block on your card, not a charge, and is released after the return.
The higher Urus deposit follows our rule for Lamborghini models. Make sure your card limit covers both the deposit block and the rental payment, especially if you book the Urus for several days.
Release times depend on your bank and typically take 7 to 21 business days. The full process, including what can be deducted, is explained in our deposit guide.
Which is faster, the G 63 or the Urus Performante?
The Urus Performante: 666 hp and a published 0 to 100 km/h time of 3.3 seconds, against 585 hp and 4.3 seconds for the G 63. Both list 850 Nm of torque.
One second in a sprint to 100 km/h is a large difference at this level. The Urus accelerates like a sports car, while the G 63 is very quick for its shape but feels more like a powerful SUV than a supercar.
In daily Dubai driving the difference matters less than the numbers suggest. Speed limits are enforced by cameras on every main road, so most of the time you will feel the extra power when joining a highway or overtaking, not at top speed. Both cars have all the performance you can legally use.
Which SUV is better for passengers and luggage?
The G 63 is the safer choice for groups: it is listed with five seats. Urus seating depends on the configuration and is confirmed at booking.
For two people with suitcases, both cars work for an airport pick-up or a weekend. For four or five adults, or a family with a child seat, the G 63 is the clearer option because the seat count is fixed. A car seat is available on request for either car.
We do not publish boot volumes, so if you travel with large or many bags, tell us the number of pieces when you book and we will confirm what fits. For a bigger group, a seven-seat SUV is the better tool.
How do the two feel on Dubai roads?
The G 63 sits high and upright, with a commanding view over traffic. The Urus is lower and sportier, built to feel closer to a sports car on the highway.
The G-Wagon is at home on Sheikh Zayed Road, in hotel driveways and in Downtown traffic, where its shape draws attention at walking pace. Its height makes parking garages and kerbs easy to judge, though its boxy body is a car you steer deliberately rather than flick into corners.
The Urus is the car for drivers who enjoy the drive itself, for example on longer highway stretches or a scenic trip out of the city. It is also the more discreet option of the two if you prefer performance over a famous silhouette. Whichever you pick, all driving must stay inside the UAE.
What about the G 63 Night Package?
We also offer a G 63 Night Package in black at the same AED 1,750 per day, excluding 5% VAT. It is listed with a 4.0L twin-turbo V8, 577 hp and 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.
The Night Package is the choice if you want a darker, all-black look. Deposit (AED 3,000), extra km rate (AED 15) and five seats are the same as on the grey G 63. Both versions are shown on our G-Wagon rental page.

Which one should you choose for your plans?
Match the car to the trip: the G 63 for groups, longer stays and value, the Urus for a short, special drive where performance is the point.
Use these points as a quick check before you book. If you are still between the two, compare them with the other models on our Lamborghini rental page.
