Which car suits a business trip in Dubai?
For most business trips, a luxury sedan is the right choice: the Mercedes-Benz S 500 at AED 999 per day or the BMW 740i at AED 1,100 per day. For client meetings at the top level, the Rolls-Royce Ghost at AED 3,000 per day makes the strongest impression.
The table matches typical business needs with cars from our fleet. All prices are per day, excluding 5% VAT, and include free delivery in Dubai, 250 km per day and 24/7 customer assistance.
If you are choosing between the two German sedans, our comparison of the Mercedes-Benz S 500 and BMW 740i explains the differences in power, drive and price.
| Business need | Suggested car | Per day (AED, excl. 5% VAT) | Seats |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meetings across the city | Mercedes-Benz C 300 | 399 | 5 |
| Executive sedan | Mercedes-Benz S 500 | 999 | 5 |
| Executive sedan | BMW 740i | 1,100 | 5 |
| Team of up to seven | Cadillac Escalade Sport | 999 | 7 |
| Team of up to seven | GMC Yukon Denali 2024 | 800 | 7 |
| Client meetings, top level | Rolls-Royce Ghost | 3,000 | 4 |
Why choose the S 500, the 740i or the Ghost?
The S 500 offers all-wheel drive, 429 hp and a quiet cabin at the lowest rate of the three. The BMW 740i is a rear-wheel-drive alternative at AED 1,100 per day. The Rolls-Royce Ghost is the choice when the car itself is part of the message.
The Mercedes-Benz S 500 has a 3.0L engine with 429 hp and 520 Nm, and a published 0 to 100 km/h time of 4.9 seconds. It seats five, which is enough for a driver and three colleagues or clients. The BMW 740i has a 3.0L engine with 335 hp and reaches 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds.
The Rolls-Royce Ghost seats four and uses a 6.75L twin-turbo V12 with 563 hp. It suits days with an important client visit, a signing or a gala dinner. Some companies combine both: a sedan for the working week and the Ghost for one day.
If your budget is tighter, the Mercedes-Benz C 300 at AED 399 per day is a smaller luxury sedan that still seats five and is easy to park in busy business districts.
Can the car be delivered to the airport, your hotel or your office?
Yes. Delivery and collection are free anywhere in Dubai, including the airport, hotels, residences and offices. Deliveries outside Dubai carry a fee that is confirmed at booking.
Send us your flight number and arrival time and we can plan the handover at the airport. Our page on airport car rental in Dubai explains how this works. If you arrive late at night, 24/7 customer assistance means someone is available if your plans change.
Many business travellers stay or work in districts such as Business Bay, DIFC or Downtown. See our page on luxury car rental in Business Bay for that area. At the end of the trip, we can collect the car at the office or the airport.
For the handover, the driver needs valid documents: UAE residents show an Emirates ID and a UAE driving licence; visitors show a passport, a visa depending on the country, and a licence or International Driving Permit depending on where the licence was issued.
Can a colleague drive the car as well?
Yes. An additional driver is permitted if they meet the age and document requirements. A surcharge applies and is confirmed at booking.
This is useful when a team shares one car, or when the person who books is not the person who drives every day. Every driver must be at least 21, and each must be registered before driving.
For a team of four to seven people, a seven-seat SUV such as the Cadillac Escalade Sport at AED 999 per day or the GMC Yukon Denali 2024 at AED 800 per day often replaces two separate cars.
How does VAT appear on the quote and invoice?
All published prices exclude 5% VAT. The VAT is added to the rental amount and shown separately in your quote and invoice.
Example: a three-day rental of the Mercedes-Benz S 500 costs 3 x AED 999 = AED 2,997. Adding 5% VAT (AED 149.85) gives AED 3,146.85 before tolls, fuel and parking.
If the invoice needs to be issued to a company, give us the company details when you book. Questions about company accounts, framework agreements or recurring bookings are handled on request, so please ask our team directly.
The security deposit is a temporary block on a card, not a charge: AED 3,000 on most cars, AED 5,000 on Lamborghini. It is released after return; the time until the refund appears depends on the bank, typically 7 to 21 business days.
What other costs should a company plan for?
The renter is responsible for Salik tolls, fuel, parking and traffic fines. Kilometres beyond 250 per day are charged at the rate on the car page, AED 10 per km on the S 500 and the 740i.
Salik tolls are charged automatically when the car passes a gate, and they are passed on to the renter after the rental. Our guide on Salik, parking and fines explains the process so your finance team knows what to expect.
For the Rolls-Royce Ghost, extra kilometres cost AED 25 per km, so plan longer drives with the 250 km daily allowance in mind. All cars are for use within the UAE only.
- Daily rate plus 5% VAT
- Additional driver surcharge, if used
- Salik tolls, fuel and parking
- Extra kilometres beyond 250 km per day
- Traffic fines, if any
What about longer business stays?
Our cars are available for daily, monthly and yearly rentals. Weekly and monthly prices are not published and are given on request.
For a project of several weeks or a relocation phase, ask for a quote and compare it with the daily rate. See our page on monthly car rental in Dubai for how longer rentals work.
Extensions are possible subject to availability, so if a trip may run longer than planned, tell us early.
